Rebranding Chica Bean
Chica Bean is Guatemalan specialty coffee, produced by women, roasted at origin in Guatemala.
This brand refresh for Chica Bean Guatemala gave Tekwani the opportunity to utilize design in making deeper connections. Listening to and collaborating with our client was important in this process, as we went from a more subdued and earthy color palette to vibrant tones inspired by Guatemalan textiles. We were able to preserve the organization’s original icon, but refine the mark in colors that reflect the beauty of the country, and complementary type.
Packaging
We are currently working with the Chica Bean team to create a coffee bag that tells their unique story.
We want to ensure that every step of the process is incorporated in the illustration, and that the design of the bag will stand out from others on grocery store shelves.
Cafe Mural
In June of 2022, we had the opportunity to paint a mural showcasing the Chica Bean brand illustrations.
We designed a piece with custom lettering and illustrations that include references to Guatemala’s natural beauty and unique culture. ¡Qué Chilero!
